Ruby red color, by the nose it reveals a wide sensation of small red fruits where the cherry is in evidence. By the taste it has a medium body, silky tannins and quite good acidity very well balancing the alcohol.

The name comes from "Gottifredo" lord of Monterinaldi more than thousand years ago: playing with the first part of his name we put beside the "Gotto" typical Tuscan thick wine glass to be filled up with good and sincere red wine to combine with an every-day lunch. The Gotto di Gottifredo comes from the youngest plnats, which give a special freshness and vibrancy to this wine.
